The Civic Bloom

The Civic Bloom is a tiny gallery for creative exchange and civic engagement. It is a miniature public art gallery designed to spark creativity, connection and conversation around campus. Inspired by the aesthetics of tiny book libraries, this small but mighty structure invites passersby to take leave or simply enjoy art in a shared accessible space.

At the center is a public art exchange box, where students, staff and visitors can leave handmade items for others to discover and take. Flanking the central exchange are two curated side houses that function as micro-galleries. These mini exhibit spaces are treated with the same intentionality as traditional gallery settings, offering rotating shows by students, faculty and guest artists.
