Eckstrasensory Perceptionz

This piece explores cognitive Self-awareness and human perception. Six golden sculptural reliefs of sensory organs are featured around a black immersive infinity mirror incorporating the viewer centered into the composition. The infinity pattern reflects the depth of this self-observation and human sensory experiences. It explores the value of each of our senses and although isolated they collectively build our interpretations of the world around us and our memories of the past, leading to a higher level of consciousness. This was my own exploration of perceptual diversity and fascination with how others interpret the world around them. I feel it is essential for me to understand another's perception in order to have a better understanding of my own. We trust in specific senses to give us a clearer comprehension of the unique nature of individual experiences but often overlook how that shapes our individual identity.
